Wandr ("we", "us") is a text-first social discovery app that helps people connect through shared activities. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and your choices. We care about your privacy and collect only what the app needs to work.
Information we collect
- Account information: your email address and password (passwords are handled securely by Google Firebase Authentication; we never see your raw password).
- Profile information: your name, age, home country, country of residence, bio, an interesting fact, interests, languages, and any profile photos you choose to add.
- Content you create: posts you publish, Huddle rooms you join, and messages you send to other users.
- Basic technical data: standard information needed to operate the service securely.
How we use your information
- To create and maintain your account and profile.
- To show you relevant people and posts in your country and let you connect and chat.
- To keep the community safe, including handling reports and blocks.
How your information is stored
Your data is stored using Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore), a secure cloud service provided by Google. Your profile and content are stored there so the app works across your devices.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Profile details you choose to add (name, photos, interests, bio, etc.) are visible to other Wandr users as part of the social features of the app. We do not share your email or password with other users.
Your choices and rights
- You can edit your profile information at any time in the app.
- You can remove your account from the app, which signs you out and stops further use.
- You can block other users so they no longer appear to you.
- You can request deletion of your stored data from within the app by removing your account.
Children
Wandr is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows the latest version.
